Hi friends! I'm going to share with you THREE things about me. Follow me on IG @blair_wolfe_.

Welcome to my blog. My name is Blair and I am here to share with you all kinds of fun content that involves lifestyle, motherhood, interior design, fashion, and so much more. But before I do I want you guys to get to know me a little better.

Let's get these ice breakers started!

#1 I'm Living the Married Life

Being married is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I finally found MY person. The person who keeps me calm despite my anxious behavior. The person who literally married me twice just so I can have my dream wedding. I know it sounds cliché, but after dating a few bad apples I was clearly able to see the person who was meant to be in my life. Since this is just a short introduction into my life, I won't dive into all of our details just yet. I think all you need to know for now is that I love my husband and the life we are creating together. He absolutely encourages me to be my most authentic self. He allows me to stay at home with our baby, take naps even when he is just as tired, and supports all my silly, crazy, short lived hobbies. I think that's what love is about. Supporting each other fully and allowing each other to live their best lives. We never tear each other down and I am VERY thankful for that.

#2 Interior Design

Okay, so this one is hard for me to talk about. I spent 4 labor intensive years in a CIDA accredited Interior Design school. Interior Design was/is a huge passion of mine - otherwise I wouldn't have spent many long years pursuing it. In design school my projects won awards and scholarships. I don't want to come across as boastful, but I want you to understand how much time, effort, love, blood, sweat, and tears I put into this career choice. I spent a summer in Dallas working as an architectural intern at SJL Design Group. I thrived at this design firm and loved everyone and everything about it. Unfortunately, I didn't love leaving my friends and family behind in Chattanooga. After graduation, I stayed local and worked as a kitchen + bath designer. It wasn't my top choice, but I love all aspects of design and residential kitchens do not fall short of that. I fell out of love with design for a while. I decided to stay in a related field and get my Real Estate License. I joined a wonderful team in Chattanooga, but I always felt guilty for not pursuing my design dreams. However, none of it actually matters anymore, because my husband and I decided to grow our family. I have a baby boy now and have decided to stay at home with him. The reason for this post, and I hope some of you can relate, is because it is SO hard to choose between the most important thing in my life - aka my baby and a career I spent so many years pursuing. Ultimately, children are so precious. Time with them flashes by. My career can wait, but in the mean time my goal is to inspire people with home decor and crafts that hopefully can fill the void in my career oriented heart, while - at the same time, gives me the liberty to watch my baby grow into the gentlemen I hope he one day becomes.

#3 Motherhood

Family is the most important thing to me. When I was 24 years old I got pregnant for the first time with my beautiful baby boy. Pregnancy became me. Contrary to popular horror stories, my pregnancy journey was amazing. Pretty much all the normal things women complain about had no effect on me. I did struggle with weight gain and body image as many women do. However, bringing my son into this world was my top priority. Once he arrived my world changed completely. I never knew I could love someone as much as I love my son, Rowan. Rowan is now 9 months old and is a beautiful little toe head. I love being a mom and can't wait to share my experience and tips if you so need them. I am no expert, but despite my inability to get my baby to sleep through the night - I think I'm doing a pretty good job. The trick is to love your baby unconditionally and the rest will fall into place!
